No More Big Feelings

Does your dog bark and lunge at other dogs or people?

Do your dog’s big feelings give you big feelings?

Is your dog “perfect at home”?

Are you walking your dog at 4am, hoping you won’t see anyone else?

You feel isolated. But you are not alone.

Having a reactive or overexcited dog makes life hard. But it doesn’t have to be.

If you’re ready to take your dog from fear and reactivity to confident and calm, I’m ready to help you get there.

Are you ready to go from big feelings to no big deal?

Then you’re in the right place.

I specialize in big feelings, and helping guardians of reactive and over-excited dogs live their best life together.

You are not failing your dog. Many of the root causes of reactivity can be addressed through training.

Reactivity and over-excitement are emotional responses. The journey is often long, sometimes slow, but always worth it.

Best for: Busy dog parents who don’t have the time, interest, or ability to learn how to train their dog and/or devote significant time to practice each day.

Dogs who have moderate to severe reactivity, anxiety, or overexcitement and need consistent practice with a trainer.

Dog parents who want faster results but do not want to send their dog away to a training camp or boarding program.

Not ideal for: Dogs with reactivity or fear towards new humans, and dogs with issues such as resource guarding or separation anxiety.

Level of dog parent involvement: Moderate. I do the training for you! We check in once a week to transfer the skills, but with so much practice with your dog, they should be more manageable to implement.

Financial Support

Because positive relationship building with your dog shouldn’t be a financial burden, I offer a limited sliding scale for those unable to pay the full rate. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this option.

Additionally, because adoption from a shelter or rescue is such an incredible way to support your community and provide a loving home to a dog in need, I offer a10% discount for the first month of membership for newly adopted dogs (from both rescues and shelters). Not only do many dogs in shelters and rescues not have basic skills, but the adjustment period into your home is such a special and important time to support their learning!
