You love your dog.
Let me help you love your life with them.

Helping Sacramento dogs (and their people) go from big feelings to no big deal. Specialized training for adolescence, reactivity, overexcitement, fear, anxiety, and destructive behaviors.

Your dog, your goals.

No matter their age, breed, or physical ability, I want to help you live your best life with your dog.

Reactivity

Embarrassed by your dog’s big feelings? Joined the midnight dog walking club because of your dog’s barking and lunging on leash? Stopped having guests over because of reactions to strangers and friends?

You’re at the end of your leash with your dog’s behavior. I’ve been there - having a reactive or overexcited dog makes life hard. But it doesn’t have to be.

Basic Manners

Do your walks leave you all wrapped up? Does your new rescue or adoption need help moving in? Is your teenager a terror at home? Chasing your tail trying to teach your dog simple things?

Getting a dog was supposed to enhance your life, not take it over. If you’re ready to stop stressing and start living your best life with your dog, I’m ready to help you get there.

Enrichment

Calling all counter surfers, yard diggers, and shoe chewers! Are you ready to get FEMA involved with your daily cleanup?

Or maybe your dog is on temporary rest recovering from surgery, or getting older and slowing down.

If your dog needs a job, Indeed is not the answer. But an enrichment program just might be.

Meet Your Trainer

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m looking forward to helping you and your dog build a better relationship together. Having fostered dogs with many types of personalities and behavioral issues, and having my own dog who struggled with reactivity, I have experienced many of the problems my clients come to me for help with.

Daily life with behavior issues isn’t just challenging; it’s emotionally exhausting and isolating. But you’re not alone. And I’m ready to help you live your best life with your dog.

Why Choose
Let Them Lead Dog Training?

Personalized

There are no cookie-cutter plans here. Both you and your dog are unique individuals. Training is built around your goals, lifestyle, and abilities.

Specialized

I am an expert at working with reactivity, fear, and overexcitement. My training works positively to reframe these feelings for life, not just in the moment.

Local

I love Sacramento!
I live where you live and know what life is like for dogs in the city and surrounding areas. It truly takes a village and we’ve got a great one.

Supportive

Every training program comes with built-in support. Got a question between sessions? Want feedback on your homework? I’m available for you throughout your training.

Holistic

Training is only one piece of the behavior puzzle. I collaborate with veterinarians, nutritionists, pain specialists, and others to look at the big picture of your dog’s issues.

Ethical

I will not sell you quick-fixes, make guarantees or promises, or use aversive training methods. I continue my own learning journey as a trainer to best serve you and your dog.
